He was previously
the Chief Information Technology Officer of COSCO group,
the 5th largest SOE in PR China with 6 public listed
subsidiaries and more than 65,000 employees. Other
positions held previously include;
- Regional IT Director at KPMG Asia Anchor Practice, supporting over 7,500
users in the region, which covers KPMG offices in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore,
Malaysia, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing and Macau.
- Asia Pacific IT Director of UPS Supply Chain Solutions and led 103 staff
in 14 Asian countries.

A leading wildlife conservation scientist in Malaysia that has a strong interest
in the development of best practice model, utilizing information technology
and professional IT services to enhanced the analytical and data mining scope
to help wildlife conservation.
Dr Sompud is also
a pioneer in wild elephant research in Malaysia working
closely with Malaysia National Park and Wildlife Department
and has contributed to 9 episodes of wildlife documentary
film titled ¡¥MERGASTUA¡¦ aired in RTM1 and he has contributed
